Take Education Voters Snap Poll
Education has been a major theme of both major candidates in New York City’s mayoral race. Which of the following lessons do you think other politicians should learn for 2010?
Education is the best long-term solution to our economic problems. When the economy gets tough, we worry about whether our kids are ready for the future.
Accountability doesn’t mean teacher layoffs or cutting a school’s budget when its students are struggling. Accountability means taking a hard look at the people who are responsible for the failing policies.
Every child, regardless of race or family income deserves an excellent education – the public believes that and people expect their elected officials to act accordingly.
All of the above.
